Surrounded by Parks and Mature trees.
Our modern and light school is sat within its own grounds, situated next to Barnes Park, Sunderland.

A wonderful setting
for your children.
The school is situated within a large field and surrounded by mature trees, which change with seasonal beauty. Within we have many little gardens, including our wildlife garden and friendship garden. We maintain an allotment and grow and use seasonal vegetables.
We are a member of Forest School, which teaches our children to develop a strong positive relationship with the natural world. In keeping with this we often plant new trees and plants around the school grounds and learn about the animals who live within and around these and amongst us.

We have a Wildflower Meadow that was designed and created by children in Year 4, with help from volunteers. This space reflects the popular theme of giving nature a home and providing a wide range of plants to offer diversity for our wildlife, especially bees!
A colourful, inspiring and modern inside.
